Why is coffee always free at work and not cold drinks like Coke/Pepsi ?
Coffee isnt that cheap, and there is the expense of coffee filters and disposable cups. Ive always wondered this.
Coffee filters, can cost less than a penny when purchased in bulk.
Disposable cups .02 – .50 depending on quantity / quality / and where you buy them.
Cheap, cheap cheap coffee, can be just a few bucks per pound, yielding several pots of coffee.
When you calculate what an office may spend on coffee, most of them go really cheap per serving.
The per serving cost for Pepsi / Coke is usually much more money. The best way would be to install a fountain soda machine at the office with bag in the box syrup. It’s very cheap per serving.
Back to the coffee, if I had an office, I would only offer the best coffee in the world, which happens to be Jamaican Blue Mountain!
Next to it, would be a fountain soda machine.
